Bandar Lampung, Puspa Indo media–Peristiwa kebakaran terjadi di Jalan Kayu Manis, Kota Sepang, Wayhalim, Bandar Lampung, Jumat (05/09/2025) sekitar pukul 11.15 WIB.
Kebakaran tersebut menghanguskan satu unit rumah dan satu kios pakaian milik warga.Menurut keterangan warga sekitar, api diduga berasal dari arus pendek listrik. Api dengan cepat membesar dan melalap bangunan semi permanen hingga mengeluarkan asap pekat yang terlihat dari kejauhan.
“Api tiba-tiba muncul dari bagian rumah, lalu langsung merambat ke kios di sampingnya. Warga panik, hanya sempat menyelamatkan diri,” ujar salah seorang saksi mata di lokasi.
Aparat kepolisian segera melakukan pengamanan jalan agar tidak menimbulkan kemacetan serta menghalau warga yang mendekat ke titik api. Sementara itu, dua unit truk pemadam kebakaran dikerahkan ke lokasi untuk memadamkan api.
Sekitar satu jam kemudian, api berhasil dipadamkan dan petugas masih melakukan pendinginan agar tidak ada bara yang tersisa. Tidak ada korban jiwa dalam peristiwa ini, namun kerugian material ditaksir mencapai puluhan juta rupiah.
Pihak kepolisian masih menyelidiki penyebab pasti kebakaran, meski dugaan kuat mengarah pada korsleting listrik. (Red)
